Using the camera obscura as a tool, Bay Area artist Chris Fraser creates stunning environments with ambient light. Curated by Rachel Clarke, his installation is up at the Center for Contemporary Art
"6 x 6" is a show of more than 200 works by well-known artists such as Joseph Bellacera, Kim Scott, Peter Stegall and Meech Miyagi along with works by newcomers at Sacramento Temporary Contemporary.
"Verses and Variations" is a show of works by Janice Nakashima that relate to the structure of poetry, focusing on little things small words, numbers and glimpses of light. The display is up at Axis Gallery
