Using the camera obscura as a tool, Bay Area artist Chris Fraser creates stunning environments with ambient light. Curated by Rachel Clarke, his installation is up at the Center for Contemporary Art

"6 x 6" is a show of more than 200 works by well-known artists such as Joseph Bellacera, Kim Scott, Peter Stegall and Meech Miyagi along with works by newcomers at Sacramento Temporary Contemporary.

"Verses and Variations" is a show of works by Janice Nakashima that relate to the structure of poetry, focusing on little things – small words, numbers and glimpses of light. The display is up at Axis Gallery
